Big 3 Volunteer Leadership Summit

Three-day summit bringing together volunteer and staff leadership from the Clark Society, Frog Club Advisory Board, and National Alumni Board. The first Big 3 Summit under Chancellor Pullin's leadership.

Sent on Labor Day and TCU football's season opener. Updated the board on the Playbook taking shape, encouraged TCU Today sign-ups, and previewed the joint Big 3 structure for October 3.

Eight days before the fall meeting. Final logistics send: shared the Big 3 Playbook, introduced the "Why TCU" meeting opener exercise, and dropped action items for Gives Day and Tailgate RSVP.

First full board meeting of the 2025–26 term. A joint Big 3 day combining individual board sessions with shared programming. The Clark board's portion centered on committee updates, the Big 3 Playbook, and LEAD ON alignment — including lunch with the 15 current Clark Scholars.

TCU Gives Day — Flash Update

A short, energetic mid-Gives-Day send. The board hit the 20-donor challenge goal for the Clark Endowed Faculty Fund and the message went out to celebrate and keep momentum going.

November Update

First post-meeting update. Recapped the Fall Board Meeting, Clark Society Tailgate, and TCU Gives Day — and set the tone for committee and planning work through the spring.

Intentionally delayed to include the Big 3 year-end check-in. Clark Society's committee mapping work stood out among peer boards, and the email closed the year with a concrete call to action and holiday well-wishes.

TCU Celebration of Philanthropy

TCU's annual evening recognizing donors who reached new lifetime giving milestones and celebrating the university's newest endowed chairs and professorships. The event featured an interactive research showcase format for the first time.

  • Chancellor Pullin welcomed the room and recognized new lifetime giving level donors across all Clark Society tiers — Visionary through Patron
  • Provost Wormley recognized the newest class of endowed chairs and professorships, spanning disciplines from chemistry and nursing to business and the arts
  • Vice Provost for Research Reuben Burch introduced the interactive research station format, replacing a traditional seated program with live faculty showcases
  • Research stations highlighted NASA spacesuit innovation (Dr. Charles Freeman), cancer biomarker and Alzheimer's research (Dr. Kayla Green), the Natural Resources Research Initiative (Dr. Omar Harvey), VR-based fitness research (Dr. Robyn Trocchio), and limb loss rehabilitation (Dr. Malaka Finco)

March Update: A Busy Week and a Big April Ahead

Packed update after an intense week of committee activity. CSEFF completed its faculty selection, Scholarship orientation kicked off with 45 applications, and the Executive Committee held a major strategic session.
